Welcome Back to School!

The Third Grade Teachers at McBain Elementary welcome you back to school for the 2018-19 school year! We've been in our rooms preparing them for Open House night. We cannot wait to meet all of you on Tuesday, August 14th from 5-7pm. Please bring any supplies that you might have ready to bring to school at that time. If you don't have any supplies ready, don't worry! We would love to meet you and your family!

School begins on Wednesday, August 22nd at 7:55am with free breakfast in the classroom for all students K-5.

We are excited for a great year of exploring and learning with all of you!

The McBain Lunch Bunch updates it on their Facebook Page monthly. Here's September's updates:  The first SANDWICH DAY  will be sub sanwiches, Sun Chips, side salad, fruit, and milk. The first LUNCH OF THE MONTH  will be egge patties, English Muffins, ham slices, Canadian bacon, has browns, fruit, and milk. The registration period for McBain Elementary's kindergarten class for Fall 2016 has begun! Your child is eligible to attend school if he/she turns 5 years old on or before  September 1, 2016 .  Please call now to register your child.   231-825-2021 .

Weekly Update 11-12-14

Native American Dwelling Project A note about this project will be coming home with your child on Monday, November 18th.  We have been studying the Native American tribes that lived in Michigan.  At the end of the unit your child will be writing a report about one of the tribes.  They will need to construct a dwelling that their tribe lived in as their homework project. Delayed Start November 17th is our delayed start.  Please remember that school starts promptly at 10:00 AM.  Breakfast will not be served that day. Thanksgiving Break There will be No School on November 27th and November 28th.  Don't forget about the Craft Show on November 29th.  This will run from 9am-3pm. Book-It Calendars November calendars will be due at the end of the month.  The goal for this month is 250 minutes.
