Attendance

If your child is going to be absent, please call the office and let them know that they are excused.

Cooler Weather

Please be sure that your child is coming to school with the appropriate clothing for the weather conditions. We don't have jackets, mittens, and gloves to lend out if your child doesn't bring these items with them. They will still have to go outside if the weather permits.

Progress Reports

Progress reports went home with your child on Friday, October 9th.

The McBain Lunch Bunch updates it on their Facebook Page monthly. Here's September's updates:  The first SANDWICH DAY  will be sub sanwiches, Sun Chips, side salad, fruit, and milk. The first LUNCH OF THE MONTH  will be egge patties, English Muffins, ham slices, Canadian bacon, has browns, fruit, and milk. The registration period for McBain Elementary's kindergarten class for Fall 2016 has begun! Your child is eligible to attend school if he/she turns 5 years old on or before  September 1, 2016 .  Please call now to register your child.   231-825-2021 .

Weekly Update 12/3/14

Christmas Program   Students should arrive in their "Sunday best" at 6:45 on December 15th. Children will have to stay with you until 6:45. After their performance, they will be released to your supervision. Thank you.  Gift Exchange    Mrs. Freeland's, Mrs. O'Malley's and Mrs. Brinks's classes have had students draw the name of a classmate to purchase a small gift for. Please keep it in the $3 to $5 range. Mrs. Vandervelde's class is to bring in a gift for a student of the same gender, $3-$5. Thank you!   Delayed Start and Break    Please remember Dec. 15th is a delayed start. Christmas parties will take place on Dec. 18th in the afternoon. Friday the 19th will be the sing along and movie day. Christmas Break will be Dec. 22-Jan. 2.   Native American Dwellings    Please remember...these dwellings are due January 12th. We look forward to showing them to each other and the second grade classes.
